Hey guys Well I just attended yesterday afternoon. Here is my opinion. First of all I prefered the night edition from last november, and of course the ISF dyno. There was a black ISF on display thats about it. As for the closed course you had a choice of an IS250/350 with the F sport parts ie intake,exhaust, brakes, springs, and the 19" f wheels. My favorite part was the street course where you can drive and LS460/600hl in the street for about 10 minutes, they keep you in a caravan with a 2 way radio to keep in communication with the lead car. As for the food pretty much finger food. Overall it wasn't a bad showing this year. Funny thing is when I pulled up in my car all the volunteers gave me the stare, as well as the street drive caravan. On my way out turning left at the light, the lead guy in the caravan with a LS600h for fun we opned up to the next traffic light, he gave me a thumbs up that was fun..

 

I went today. First time to a Lexus event. Drove the RX350 and LS460L (follow the leader on local roads). It was pretty good because there were many stop signs and chances to open it up. Wow, what a difference. The RX engine felt / sounded like it was straining when given significant throttle. Also felt every bump. The LS was the exact opposite. The smoothest, quietest car I have ever driven. Very impressed. I dont understand why the LS (even the $116K LS600h) does not have memory for the passenger seat. Even the IS has that feature. I asked one of the "helpers" and he was clueless. Got on his communicator (mike clipped to his shirt) and came back with "they are adding it for 09". I did not drive the 600h, I dont understand why someone would spend at least $30K more than the 460L to get +4 mpg city / -2 mpg hwy. I dont think you would save enough in gas to cover the higher payment / lost interest (in other words the break even point is infinity). I would have liked it if they had an IS-F to drive, but after trying to sit in the back seat of the display car, it would not work for me.

 

Was there today around 12pm. Drove the GS460 and the IS350, since I wanted to hear the F-sport exhaust.
