oye , x10 in agreement about 600 ish on pump is the edge for pump gas

now if jerome wants to be smart and somewhat safer he should add a aquamist injection kit to hold off detonating on such low octane

I beg to differ Senor!!! I had a conversation with my tech/tuner a couple of days ago and as I'm sure you're aware that the safe rwhp # for a stock GTE short block is 800rwhp and something as little as changing my injectors out will get me into the high 7's easily. That is the goal sir!!! A nice, safe, powerful tune to really put the smack down on you 1J fans!! Dre, why don't you want to see Wicked vs Drego??? Don't tell me that you're a little afraid??
Listen, all you have to do is shut down I-75 one night and since it's a five lane highway it'll be Dre, Robert, Roger, myself, and any other 1J in a SC/Supra that wants it and then I can put all of you to rest all at the same time!!!

theres nothing brave about it .. once you have full control of timing and knock control and the ability to control injector angle and how the injectors fire

i have been running 23psi since 10/08 and compression is almost perfect still

you may laugh and joke but thats the bottom line

do you think you could be running 593 on pump with cams without darin behind the laptop and not blow it up...gte block with ge head has a known little problem...it is more prone to detonating then a full ge setup with head gasket because of the quench factor between ge head and gte pistons


not saying its not safe by a long shot but darin from titan is a master tuner and he knows how to tune around it and setup a very very safe knock map to ward it off


look on clive 25psi on pump making 580 , chrispeed knows his stuff and knows when to bring the timing on


hp doesnt blow motors its the spike in trq at max hp that blows it and being able to pull timing right at that point is the key
