i know guys i have made loads of excuses but im lazy that way .. the real reason for the delays is that , the car runs so smooth and sweet , you know sometimes when you disturb things , things dont wanna run the same , call it fear i guess which i shall overcome
the headgasket part is just pure laziness to pull the head and stuff

LOL you guys crack me up! I look forwrad to coming to work cause of all these typing wars.
But truth is that when it comes to putting these cars together it is not cheap! I personally have been sitting on a load of parts dieing to go in but tough times have made it longer then I would like. Then when it is almost time some chit breaks lol. But soon enough you 2j runners better look out for another force out there.

Useless.....? Negative Batman, the following does not seem useless, on the contrary very Usable.
Here is Jerome's config, I believe he redlines at 7500.
So here is his gears Based on 305-25-20 tires, his 6spd box and USDM 3.13 final drive, redlining at 7500.
1st-48.41mph
2nd-78.57mph
3rd-110.37mph
4th-141.54mph
5th-185.42mph
6th-234.71mph

dre those numbers look great on paper but in actuality 2 nd gear under full boost redlines so fast .. thats what i am talking about .. if you are rolling into boost and wind the snail slowly u can ride it up to that speed but the gear overall is short so it comes quick

That wouldn't be any fun! Plus most of them 240 guys are throwing the 1j and 2j in there so at the end of the day they are getting big power and they are that much more lighter. Ask Ed he knows all about that.

The point was we had to hear about the leak for at least 6 months, the cams you told everybody you had and then we see a post about finally got the 268's probably 2 months later no wonder why you didn't put them in before we went to Homestead, all I'm saying is your toys stay new for an awfully long time because they don't always exist we you say they do!!
You just spent time energy and money to pull your v covers and plenum for polishing and the cams are where??? If I was going to do all that work I surely would of retorqued the head and put the cams in then or changed the HG if necessary for the coolant loss issue!!!! Just my 2 cents!!!!
