On my way to the movies I came across an silver m6, white 335i sedan (badgeless), and a blue gto. The 335i and gto lined up for a 40mph. I tried to join them but they hit it right before I was able to line up.

I hit it after them in 2nd and they weren't pulling away. But I had to go from 2nd to 4th (no 3rd gear). When I shifted, the clutch started slipping like crazy. So I let off. This was my first time trying to race without 3rd gear and now I can't drive hard because of my clutch.

So now I need a new tranny and clutch. Plus I still need an AC compressor.

Are you sure the trans is toast? Sounds like either a clutch engagement issue or maybe just a synchro....much cheaper than a whole new trans

Well 3rd has been non existent for a while now from shifting hard with low clutch fluid due to a leak in the line. And now the clutch has been slipping. I may rebuild the tranny but I found another for cheap. I already ordered a clutch kit.

We were comin back from watchin the ufc fight waiting at the red light this 05 modle v6 mustang was wantin to race so when the light turned green we took off and i had to switch lanes because of traffic and still pulled him by 2 cars so after the traffic cleared up we did a 40 roll and i pulled him by 3 cars

All I can say is when you are used to 500+rwp and all of a sudden you do a run on an NA, dude,the runs are so long. It's like a life time just to get to 115mph... wow! I forgot the dude in the blue IS3's name, but we ran and it was for ever to get to 115/ Wow!
No offense, but Frankly I don't care who won or lost it was just out of the norm for me. Seriously I need boost back... BAD!


So with that said. The beast should on the road by next week. Some of you know and some of don't know what I got cooking in the oven.
But it sure will be a lot of fun...!

I ran a very clean silver G35 on the way home from state of stance. He was with a blue 1IS and black s14. He had an exhaust and was slammed on some silver/polished 19s or 20s. I don't know what other mods.

I was in 4th (wish I couldve been in 3rd) and we were going around 75mph. He came next to me and gave me the thumbs up and I did the same. I heard him hit it and I hit after him. I get about 4 cars at the end of 4th at around 125mph and I put it in 5th and he got smaller in my rear view.

My clutch seems to be holding strong.
