HIN has released their 2009 schedule and it looks like I was right, Only one actual Car show on the schedule for FL. Its April 25th in St. Pete/Tampa. Looks like its going to be a Nightshift.

The other HIN event is going to be in Jacksonville, FL. but it doesn't look like a car show but more of a pre-game pep-rally party meet the night before the Florida vs. Georgia game to be called The Rivalry Nights Tour. Friday Oct 30.
Looks like they aren't going to be Orlando or Miami this year like I had mentioned before. Sucks cuz I was making plans on attending HIN Orlando via the autotrain which road right into Orlando.

Not crazy about this pep-rally meet thing who are earth would want their car near a bunch of drunk college kids when god knows what can break out between these two big team fan bases with our car in the middle of it... so basically its one real show per state except for cally whch is getting 2 but its a huge state so it makes sense.. I told you no more orlando or miami...I didn't think Tampa was all that when they did it a few years ago but i guess it makes sense for them economically..

I would think that they would keep what they had going and build on it, but that makes too much sense!
Crossing over to an entirely different fan base may not be good thing for us car enthusiast, but economically sports are a proven fundraiser?
I'll have to wait and see how it goes?
