What is up near PBIR? I've never been to cityplace up there? There has GOT to be some destination type stuff around. A local group of friends each year have an event at Okaheeli (?) Park which is about 20min from the track. We rent out a pavilion and there is PLENTY of parking, bathrooms, etc. Typical "park" type setup and the pavilion is only like $100. BBQ in the afternoon and roll to the track once it cools down. I don't think that will foster the environment Ed is talking about though.

I produce shows (tradeshows) for a living at convention centers, so I can make some calls to the hardrock people about doing a parking lot setup if you guys deem it a viable option. So far it has my vote in order to accommodate the most amount of people on the cheaper side without being too far south for the guys coming from the rest of the state. Cops are hardcore in the area, so there couldn't be any real goofing off. Seminole cops are no joke.

Wherever the meet is, I'm game...whether its Holiday Aisle, Jamaica or Tallahassee....whatever.

I think the track meet will be a local crew type of event....I know I wouldn't want to travel several hundred miles to run my car ***** out and have it break down. ****, I live 80 miles from the track now and I don't go because its so far :lol:

 

okay as a alternative , how about doing it on hollywood beach , quite possibly on the boardwalk i believe we have to purchase a permit for saturday then sunday at either marham park or cb smith for all out bbq and official car show or hard rock on sunday

 

I feel like we're running around in circles .Putting the horse before the carriage , ultimately going to war without a leader .Josh take control of this event I 'm sure you know alright .(We got your back) I like the park thing Trade Wings, CB Smith or even Marham park for Sundays BBQ / Car show it getting really deep in the season ..


And also can some of the northern members please chime in we need your input, for I hope this to be a true Florida Mega meet..

 

One thing is for sure...wherever it is, its going to be hot as hell :-/
