I'm going to buy a 1JZ-GTE 5-speed full swap pretty soon and I wanted to know where is a place to take the motor and car to get the swap done correctly.

I really don't want to risk taking to someone who doesn't know.
I have a 1993 Lexus SC300.

Preferably a shop in South FL

There are quite a few shops ( and CL members, too ) who can do a good job with the 1J swap. Brian at ProLink Japan in Hallandale has done many 1J/2J swaps and stands behind his work. If you're interested I can PM his number.

I found his number and I got to talk to him and he gave me a price just for the labor. I really don't want to pay that much for the swap...

How much should I expect to pay to get the swap done?

Jimmy and Neil at Bubble bee performance in Davie does excellent swap, Fabrication is the best at wiring. Everybody does there wiring at Jimmys just ask 954 321 5802

Forget all of these shops!!!

I saw //LRD from LRD Performance in Plantation do the some engine work on

a 2J last week, and let me tell you he's the man!!

He could probably do the swap and wire the car in 2-3 days tops!!
