iight guys, sooo i came across a guy parting out his original 5 speed sc...and he offered me a great deal on the 5 speed conversion, i wanna pick it up but i have been saving up my money to go boost and get my 1jz...
What do you guys think i should do continue saving or go ahead and pick up the 5 speed swap...keep in mind its a killer deal he OFFERD me....

yea i want boost but u dont come across full 5 speed swaps that often...theres always 1j's or 2j's on the market...
the other thing is i gave the guy my word that i wanted it so hes holding it for me...so if i take too long he will sell it to someone else...
im confused

I understand that it is a sweet deal and all but man these cars are cows. If it was me I would just swap the automatic 1jz in there and then save up later on for the 5 speed swap. Its not like the automatics are slow either....

^^^im trying bro but idk what to do...its a really great deal...and i gave the guy my word...but then again i can save a lil more and pick up a soarer or chaser auto set for around 1400

a local guy out here in orlando has a couple 1jz sets for 1400 and a couple aristo set for 2000 complete...i dont really trust them like that...so since im 40 mins away ima take a ride up there and check them out also ima bring my mechanic

Yeah you definitely do that and let me know how they turn out pm me or call me to let me know, because when i get back from vacation i will definitely be saving up BIG TIME for a motor for my car.

there is a whole 95 sc that was in a roll over accident 5-speed for only 1800 on autotrader its got a full interior good engine and even the tail lights and rear end is good so i mean you will be able to get the swap parts needed for a future 5-speed conversion they will always be out there and remember your gonna go manual but ur car will still be the same slow just boost it first see what power you want then work on your drive train

get yourself a 1j or 2j boosted automatic.that is already on boost.make power untill the tranny dont hold.then make it 5speed or 6speed.

^^^^ Well you guys i have been thinking all day today and i decided that i think ima jus go for the 1j auto...and instead of me buying the complete 5 speed swap im buy everything except the W58...so that way later on down the line when im tired of the auto i can jus buy a tranny(r154) and im set feel me???
