Ya, I could use some 17 or 18's with drag radials - my 20's with 305's we're not cutting it. I was spinning in first, second and third ( even needed to blip the throttle my last two runs since I was starting to come around in third ). Of course I launched the car like my grandmother would, just concerned about breaking something. Rudy showed us how to launch when you're not concerned about breaking something ( he drove Jerome's car like he stole it!). Oh well, first time with the SC and 6 speed - at least I learned a thing or two - need drag radials and need to hammer the launch - then I should turn a decent ET. I trapped over 121 even with a 'blip' of the throttle. so the car has enough power to run a respectable ET.

I totally agree.. A 96 Carprice SW would run better et then my current set up.And I know this cause I had one .I'm just simply hocked !! And it's not so much going after and individual , but the clock I'm determined to do better then a 13.7 period..It's all fun an things when we go out and run top end .But I have to admit it's nice not having to look over your shoulders .

You guys have no idea how much heat I'm getting from the Jamaicans (none members) out on the mean streets of S.Fl .Chit like man John can only run 14's. His chit slow..Yeah on the track it is .There's no arguing that.Something has to change ..

Next track meet is in mid November

Ps John - it DOES look like my brakes are on from the video, but as far as I know... they aren't. Maybe some kind of crazy short, but I don't think so..just bright-*** LEDS; and you were the only one that even noticed!

We all need to save up in our piggy banks and do an actual track day (rather than just drag-strip).. the were doing "test and tune" track days for a little while but it appear they have stopped..
