To "SHINE" or not ...getting tired of the sc
Havent posted im the fl section but here is my delimma guys i work at a MB speciatly lab and lately ive been enjoying mercedes benz products alot more than my lexus. Ive owned a 03 cl600 and loved it up until the heads were toast and was costing too much to fix. I sold that and now own a 04 S55amg and just like any other amg this almost 6000lbs car is a rocket. The crazy thing is that whenever i jump in my sc its lover all over again. The feel of half blown twins still feels great and still puts the biggest grin on my face when boosting on the streets.
On the other hand the look ok the 97+ dont catch my eyes like a body kit (miss the jic) ..If i keep this car im really going to have to step it up because of a few ac sc's on here. Ive been looking at a couple threads on the shine ac kit and im thinking about pulling the trigger. Should i give the sc 1 more try?

Lol the sc crowd is huge down here so i should of known better to make this thread . I jus did a oil change and replaced the rear tires gave her a wash and wax and she is actually looking decent. If i do keep the sc its gonna take around 5000 dollarsto get her tip top and i already have around 5000 in it and right now i dont think my sc can bring 7500. Modding them is fun but it can be expensive to do them right. I guess after owning 5 sc's im jus a little bored with her now.
On the other hand facelift will definately make me think twice about selling it. If i keep her, i will have a 97 conversion, supra tt black leather seats and rims up for sale soon since i will be getting the shine bodykit and some 20" to go with it.

Don't give up on the SC senor... I do give prop's to MB when it comes to AMG especailly S,SL,CL, OR E55... There beast on the roads when it comes to chip's and pulley's, the problem is the price of these car's if something break's u got to give ur arms and legs to pay for it.... Unlike the lexus sc it's alot more cost efficent wether it a 92 or a 2000 the car is defintely a head turner. Especaily with Boost, Body kit, and wheels u can't go wrong....

Bro, I agree with everyone here, however, once the bug gets you it's better to go with your gut. Chances are you'll do the upgrades you speak of, get instant gratification and later down the line you'll be making this thread again only $5000+ poorer.
Follow your gut, you never know what will be, but sometimes it leads you back to where you started. By the sounds of it, you like both Brands so I don't think you'll be making a bad move. Beside rolling in an AMG adds a certain "pimp factor" that a Lexus can't.

Thanks for the input fellas. I still can get over how smooth and effortless the s55 is not to mention it still get better mileage than the sc. lol.. Ive been thinking about it and im gonna get the "shine" ac kit and jus finish what i started.
A client came in today and we started a little convo about cars. Well it turned out he is a fellow sc owner and his car is in the process getting treated with a usdm 2jzgte single turbo 6 speed drivetrain and he is looking for 700 whp. The crazy thing wasthis guy had to be at least 50. He told me he was the first owner and he plans on keeping it like that. After our long convo about turbo's, rims and emu's and sc's. to make a long story short im gonna keep my lexus. First mod will be the body since she needs some attention. I will be selling my 97 conversion soon so if any of you guys intrested shoot me a pm.
