never heard of MS before (or mabye i have i'm pretty burnt) but how do you "build" it ? ......something i would like to get some info on, or do you put these together for us

Anybody can build the basic board if you have the knowledge and skill with a soldering iron. Its all the OTHER stuff you have to do to make it work on a given application that is the key
I will be building them....or you can buy one and I'll modify it (but it'll be more expensive that way)
That is what Jon and I are going to find out. Being that the factory computer remains in the car, it should control the auto like stock. Why??
I'm asking because if my memory serves me correct not even the big, bad, mighty Motec ECU can control the Auto trans so if yours did then you're the man! I'm not sure if that's changed but I remember a couple of years that was the case..

There is a separate box connected via something called a CAN BUS (like what motec uses to drive their HUD) that can control an automatic, but I'm not looking to go down that road just yet.
