Looking for an ECU to test...
I am in need of a 1G GS300 auto ECU to test, if any one out there has one. I would more than likely buy it if it does work and fixes my problem. Also, would be willing to throw in some money for your gas/time too.
I am in the Palm Beach Gardens area, just off Northlake.
Thanks in advance for any help guys/gals...

Yeah, what sc2.5 said, I did not know there was a difference between years in the ECU's. It is a 94 automatic.
Hey Tomas, been having problems with it for a while now, went from stalling out randomly, to starting then dying, to now not starting at all, just cranks. It all began really when I cleaned the MAF with the CRC stuff. But, I've had two different "supposed to be good" MAF's in there, and it still won't start. Also, replaced the IAC, still nothing, thinking maybe it's the ECU.

I'm not sure how far I am from you, a good hour at least. I'm going out of town on Thursday through the weekend, should be back Monday. So if the guy can let me try it, we can do it early next week. Thanks man, and let me know what you can find out.

Pulled the ECU tonight opened it up and found this...
Separate capacitors that appears to be leaking...
A couple other spots that looked weird to me...
So I'm thinking I answered my own questions about the ECU.

Damn, so I did all that when I opened it?? So replacing the ECU might not fix what's wrong with the car, just what I did?? I didn't realize static electricity could cause all that. What can I do to avoid it in the future when messing with these things.

^^^ LOL I was kidding about that frying your board from the damage on those pics thats a long term burn or something related to a 12 volt source. You didn't do that ,but your not supposed to touch those boards unless you ground yourself off to the case. The ecu is toast you need to replace it.
