Well my friends I am happy to announce that the Power Squirt EMS is fully installed and is fully operational with the automatic transmission .Don't ask me how Jordan did it .I will share the video I took of of him once he realized the P.S.I. EMS worked perfectly alongside with my stock computer which was left to control idle and the swift points. Good to hear u back John, did you re tune the car already??? So origionally the the PSE EMS was not made for Autos??

 

To my knowledge Jermaine, there's no Aftermarket Engine Management that control the Auto Trans. Any one that is running a standalone usually maintains the stock ECU to control the Trans and the standalone controls the other features of the car...

I'm sure Mr. Jordantune can chime in with more knowledge/details on the subject!

 

The AEM I believe has provisions for trans control, but I don't know enough about it to comment on that.

Jerome is right, the stock ECU is still in the car maintaining the auto, idle and a/c. Thats it. Everything else is done through the ems. Could I take the time to rewire the a/c and work out the stepper idle motor...probably, but I haven't found situation where that is required.
