Ed just go ahead and get the Getrag now and go all out ha ha. I was in same boat as you with only wanting 5XXhp and got built R154 but the bug has bitten me hard and I got the Getrag so no more excuses, I only want 8XX for now lol...

i am not trusting the r154 to hold up driving too agressively at these levels even if i have it built
i am thinking when i am ready to swap in a gte bottom end i might do the v160 at that time with a twin disk clutch
