My Cousin got pulled over in WPB by FHP driving get this a MIATA yup a Miata and to make it worse he got arrested for running the sunpass.

I'm in Orlando and saw an Orlando Sheriff get out of an early 2000's Toyota 4runner and it had lights and everything. From the outside looked plain as ever.

yeah i seen that suv all the time up and down 154th st and 67ave.
also i seen state troopers on the 67ave exit.walking in the middle of the lanes checking if you have your seat belt on.

like the HOV lane is that important.now they made it a sunpass lane,and tax you different $$ depending what time of day it is.

wow a Miata??jail time for a sunpass,thats nuts.

all our tax money for under marked cars just to pull us over.there's more important things out there they can be doing.

It's not really your tax dollars buying these vehicles. Most of them are seized by the FHP and distributed accordingly (local manicipalities, etc.). Truth of the matter is, we can post up here all day about what cars/trucks/suv's we've seen pulling ppl over, but we can't memorize or be on the lookout for every vehicle type.

On my way back from Orlando a few weeks ago, I came out of the Fort Pierce area rest stop and hit it coming back to Fort Laudi. I was in a rental, but f- it...I was tired and tryin to be home...so I was crusin at about 95/100 and this white corrolla comes out of nowhere and lights me up...I was like, "WTF!?!? A corrolla!?!?" SO, I slowed down to 70 and call *FHP and let em know what was up. They said they did not have any corrollas and were dispatching some units. I guess dude figured out I was on the phone with FHP and tried to dip...in a corrolla buddy, really? So I stayed about 20 cars behind and watched this dude try to pull over two more people and finally got someone in an SUV to pull over...long story short, FHP chases him down only to find out it was a dude with his two kids in the car (10 yrs old and 8 yrs old) who thought it would be funny to impersonate a cop. . . Could have been a lot worse. MESSAGE OF THE DAY, call it in before you pull it over...

Police/FHP/etc presence should be made OBVIOUS for the sake of enforcing the law. God Forbid you need help, how are you going to be able to seek out an "unmarked" car?
