My time has come...TIME FOR A SWAP!!
My tranny finally went out on me so im looking to find a 1j or 2j swap, I would like something local so if any of you guys know of someone or has a engine shout me a holla. Looking for some options. Thanks!

damn bro puttin work into the sc quick LoL , a 1J swap will more than likely be the cheapest route if u wanna do a swap. If u do decide to just go with a 2J swap the auto tranny on that and the tranny in ur sc4 are basically the same if I am not mistaken so dont let that be ur deciding factor. Unless ur going manual swap as well

lol I've been considering the swap for a while just didnt wanna hurt the bank account with a hard hit.My tranny is acting up and a rebuild is almost as much as a swap so I dont want more headaches. I wont mind a Auto Tranny and im thinking about a 1j but 2j parts are easier to find eventhough it cost a lil more. Im looking for a good deal so let's see what comes up. Dont you know someone doing a swap on a GS?

You even consider doing a R154/w58 manual swap instead of converting to a whole other engine? Will cost less then doing your JZ swap. Plus your down time can only be a day compared to more then a week. Saying this cause it will bring word fun back to your car for a lot less of a price. I hear a lot of people say they have a issue with a trans or something small with there motor and just drop the JZ line. Just something else to think of.

I have a swap in my sc400 and the only hassle I am dealing with now is finding the last a/c line that connects to the compressor even though I will have to modify the fitting....

If you throw the right number my way i might let go my 2jz manual swap thats already wired for an sc400. Im leaving town in a week so i was going to leave the car to get the swap then but im kinda indecisive because i really want a 99 or 00 car instead of my 95.
