Noobe surfing???
I'm a beginner at surfing and I just picked up a surfboard(freebie) it a Premier 6'10"x21"x2" board i dont know the exact dimensions, but i know its not a good board to learn on, but do you thing I can still learn. I'm 5'9" 200lbs, or do you think I should still pick up a longerboard and same that board for when i lose weight and get better?

If you continue to try and learn on that board you will lose the weight lol ..Besides the surf in south Florida is pretty flat anyways.. Long board is the way to go..

I live in Jax. I'm gonna try to hit up the beach as much as possible. Yeah i know you'll lose a lot of weight because the first time my body was hurting and so were my nipples lol, my buddy didn't tell me about rash guards.
