Well I'll leave that up to my tuner.i have a v1.but the AEM v2 is kick ***.lots of things are better then the v1.go for it man it's the best way to go.

congrats rich .. looking forward to the unveil.. the whistle sound you mentioned , could it be a vac leak .. do a boost leak test and make sure their isnt a leak on the intake manifold welds ..
for the comment on the 97 auto ge tranny , aem will only control gte tranny as ge has a manuel kickdown and gte is all electronic

I have to add some information the vvti GE share the same TPS as the GTE.so I switched to a GE non-vvti TPS.now I wonder if I have to re pin my TPS plug???
