Ed, I believe the idea is long over due and look forward to the Air becoming a little more clear with a mutual purpose for the old and hopefully the new that haven't even arrived, to keep our mutual love of cars alive and growing without the barriers that seem to be suffocating the present CLFL.

.. please i ask if on the list , please commit and follow thru and attend
it will be on a saturday evening so lets vote on which saturday and what time to arrive as part of what i have to do is establish a narrow window of time with the restaurant for blocking parking and to set the tables up

If this is on short notice I probably wont be able to make it, but I would be down for any kind of future meets!
Im fairly new to CL, but Ive gone to a few meets with my friend and the my8th gen accord crew. I would love to meet up with some of my "own people"

thanks bob for the support , we will make sure all have ample noticefor those who to plan to attend , but it is critical to the cause that everyone who has replied will attend , no excuses .. there will be lots to talk about and some new event/s to discuss as well

i wish a couple of the og's from central florida would make the trip down for the sit down .. part of what we want to discuss is getting back to regular north and south planned events that actually happen like they used to .. and the need to get the mega meet theme back into the mix which can and will be held throughout the state and not at any one monopolized location ( in other words moved around each year to accomodate all ..)

i wish a couple of the og's from central florida would make the trip down for the sit down .. part of what we want to discuss is getting back to regular north and south planned events that actually happen like they used to .. and the need to get the mega meet theme back into the mix which can and will be held throughout the state and not at any one monopolized location ( in other words moved around each year to accomodate all ..)
It's so good to see an OG from back in the day make an attempt to get this train rolling again. I remember when CL was fun for everybody and despite all the modifications one member would have over another, it was so cool to meet, eat, cruise, take pics and drive home as a group or individual and plan to do it all over again in South Florida or Central Florida(Orlando/Tampa)? Let's get it back to those days, but understand it takes a group effort to make it happen?
I'm committed to taking the lead for Central Florida (CL) and I'm assuming that since Ed orchestrated this resurrection, he'll take lead for South Florida? We all as members will share our input and make CL what it use to be (FUN)!!
Here's what I would like to see happen in both regions?
1. Bi-Weekly meets at a secure location with Supra/Lexus owners from 7-Until?
-Each region decide what location and day of the week is best for their region?
-Central Florida (Orlando) has titled our bi-weekly meets "Cars and Cigars" meeting at a cigar bar on Wednesday nights from 7-Until, with approved parking in the lot from the owner? We meet inside for an 1hr. to patronize the business and talk shop in the lot afterwards until we leave. This has generated 10-20 cars each meet and has worked for us for now? This keeps the local members in tuned as to what's going on and establishes camaraderie amongst the local members? No burnouts/No racing allowed period!!
-Find a location, get approval and keep it going?
2. (2) meets per year each region with one being a picnic meet/greet and the other a show/meet?
-These meets would be planned for early Spring and late Fall times of the year on a rotating basis SF/Orlando/SF/ Orlando?
-All to take place in 2013? Start planning who's gonna do what?
-Each region plans and host the picnic for the visiting region to attend and enjoy without worries or responsibilities?
-Create a committee?
3. CL T-Shirts for Each Region(Color Coded For Each Region)
-Each region decides what color they want through the meet discussions?
-T-Shirt Design/Logo (front/back)?
-Create a committee?
Let's establish these items on the agenda for now and build on it each week?
-We'll report back on CL to discuss our group/region decisions?
Members, I have a working knowledge of what it takes to make CL what it use to be, If you would trust Ed and myself with the help of members input, to lay the foundation and get this thing rolling again? You have my support and many know that when I put my best foot forward, we have had great events with members as far as Georgia roll down to participate.
Let's make it happen!!
