What kind of car?

I would suggest getting a good set of coils instead of springs. Reason being is that most people who get springs end up getting coils later on so save yourself some money, but thats just my opinion.

^ This. I've always done what he's said because I know I'll never be satisfied enough with just springs. Plus, if you have enough miles on your shocks and struts and would need to replace those as well and sometimes a good setup of that can cost more than a decent set of coils

If your on a budget, go with Megan EZ coils. As long as you dont plan on tracking your car, theyre a great bang for your buck.

Welcome to CL. the IS250 is a great car and looks even better with a small drop. H&R and TEIN S-Techs would be the 2 best springs to choose from. Where in FL you located. I know someone selling their car and has TEIN and F SPORT springs/shocks for sale.

The drop wont really be too noticable. I havent heard about too many people say anything bad about eibach.

The problem with a set of springs is that your stuck at the ride height after its dropped, you cant go lower or raise it up. Plus your ride quality may not be as good and you may wear out your shocks quicker.

If you really have your heart set on springs, I would go with what Rasta recommended

1" drop is probably within the shocks usable range. Most cars in the past I've lowered with a 1" drop on OEM shocks/struts deemed reliable with out blowing the shock.

Ive used prokit on E34 bmw, acura integra, civics.

Eibach, H&R, Tein are the springs I usually use on any car I decide to lower. For the sportier feel and lower than stock.

Eibach spends time in R&D.. Million mile warranty too!

If you plan on selling the car in 10 years Eibach prokit would be a good investment. Coilovers would probably be dead in 10 years.
