Philips is to give professional and consumer PC owners alike a faster and even more dynamic video and gaming experience with the introduction of the new 190S5 19-inch (48cm) LCD monitor.
With a superfast 12-milisecond response time – the time it takes for pixels to switch on and off and change colour – the 190S5 ensures that action or rapid scene changes in video, gaming and multimedia content are reproduced with razor-sharp motion and detail.
For gaming, in particular, the faster response time of the 190S5 brings significant benefit to the playing experience and enjoyment. As today’s most popular action-orientated gaming genres demand speed and fast responses, the 190S5 rules out any distracting image ghosting or blurring – meaning more fun and better scores for gamers.
The fast response time is just one aspect of the monitor’s outstanding front-of-screen performance. The 1280x1024 resolution SXGA TFT panel ensures pin-sharp display of all images, while sRGB ensures ensure accurate colour matching between images onscreen and images being printed out.
The sharp, high resolution and flicker-free LCD display also delivers a more comfortable viewing experience for end users spending long periods of time in front of their monitor. The iF jury also praised range’s aesthetic look, commenting on the care with which Philips has ensured that the monitors were attractively designed at the back as well as the front, making an all-round positive contribution to working environments in which the monitors are in use.
