FS: 1990 240SX SE Hatch, Perfect swap car, only $900, So. Cali

I have a Black 1990 240sx SE hatch that im deciding to let go of. A friend of mine bought the car from a local used car dealer but after 2 or 3 weeks of daily driving, the motor sounded like it had a rod knock once you hit 2K RPM. So we pulled the motor out before it blew up. As the car sits right now, there is no motor or tranny in the car. I have them both with an uncut harness and very smooth shifting tranny. The interior was old and was taken out. The entire floor of the car was properly stripped of its heavy sound deadening material, there was VERY LITTLE rust only in the spare wheel tub. That was all ground and polished out. That whole area was then coated with an anti rust coating and the whole back half of the car was professionally re-painted gloss black. All that is in the interior now is just the 2 stock seats, clean door panels and dash with a few cracks. The rear hatch is clean and rust FREE. The car is black and has no major body damage. It does have some door dinks, the biggest one being on the driver door where it looks like some ones door got pushed into the 240’s door, so there is a curved dent there. Headlights flip up no problem and all other lights work great. I ran a carfax back when we bought it and it was clean. This is a perfect car to drop an SR20det motor into. All you need is maybe a new rack if you want power steering because this rack leeks. The car has about 223K miles on it. I can get you a Redtop SR20det swap for about 1400-1500 from a motor dealer I know, without intercooler and intake piping if you buy the car and want a redtop. I would love to keep the car because it’s a nice ride but for me it’s just not practical, as I have no time to work on it, even if I had the money for a SR20 motor. And I also don’t have any room to keep it which is a bigger reason why it has to go. Only asking $900. Let me know if you are seriously interested.
