honestly, never had the McCulloch kit either, but I did have the Philips kit before hand. They are top quality


I'm not sure why this is, but I mainly see McCulloch, Hella, and "no-name" brands, out there...very rarely do I see kits with the Philips ballasts...makes you wonder...

so how much would u pay for a phillips kit? i just sold mine for 260shipped i could of goosed u some more huh LOL jk..

i think ur best bet would be to buy everyting seperate ( phillips ballast, HID bulbs, and get ahold of a custom wiring harness) if u should decide to go that route i can make u a harness for a decent price PM me..

phillips ballast are hard to come around... if it was up to me i would get OEM ballast like koitos (lexus ballast) and go about custom making a kit..

BTW theres a kit on ebay phillips kit for 420 ouch!

also make sure u look at the ceramic insulation (stick) .. if u want a true 6000k hid bulb is going to be flourescent purple... just a heads up

yea, ive been looking at the kits they sold on ebay and didn't want to fork out that much for a set of lights *just yet* and did you see the shipping on those sets for ebay.....$50!!! from Taiwan...don't want to take my chances with those. Also the other ones selling for $450 or so with $25 shipping (comes out to be the same price for either set), I emailed the seller and he said they come in generic boxes and aren't labeled ...so you're paying close to $500 for a no-name HID kit

Anyone know where I can get a kit like yours???

long story short...and dont wanna get off topic too much... there was this site groupbuycenter.com its been long changed now... there was a vendor by the sn of discount cycle... he disappeared...ppl have emailed him and have yet to recieve any replies

well there u go.. iron chef can get u phillips ballast... i can make u the wiring harness..and u can buy bulbs pretty much anywhere (ebay)

hey guys i found this site thats offering a discount on HID kits by Xtec... it comes with lifetime warranty which i think is damn good b/c all you guys worry about the ballast failing or if the bulb is a good quality...this way u dont have to worry about anything. the kit goes for 315$ plus shipping good price
