They are actually both 2.7, the seller is just trying to go by actual clock speed. 
depending on where you get the specs from they range slightly from who is selling it, but all the ZD7000's are 2.7 gig.

HP Pavilion zd7000 Laptop for sale!!!
I have a HP Pavilion zd7000 laptop for sale. I see these going on e-bay for over $1k all day. Mine comes with a brand new carrying bag and a portable shelf to keep it cool!! I am asking $1k shipped!! Works awesome!! 17" widescreen, 2.8 processor, 512 ram, 80 gig HD, built in wireless, ETC... Here are some pics. I hate to get rid of it but need the quick cash.
