I'm helping my brother in law look for one. Just wanted to check with the members also, he's been looking on the side too.
Obviously with low mileage, probably less than 30k miles. He'll probably get the warranties extended (we know how reliable these things are )

Since the 06 are here, hopefully price range in the 55k-or is he dreaming???

Preferably black, silver, then grey exterior with grey or black interior, no sports package though.

My brother has a black one for sale. Maya STM's staggered dubs, lowered, and a complete system with 3 tv's and custom trunk. But price is more than 55k..

Could you tell me a little more information?

1. How many miles does he have?
2. How much does he want for it with all the mods?
3. And if he parts all the goodies out including rims possibly, how much does he want it for then?
4. Is he local so we can take a look?

i beleive bmw extended the warranties on the 745s to 100K miles, not sure which years tho.

Only certain ones are extended to 100k. 02's and 03's just certain VIN numbers though. Not sure why not all 02's and 03's were extended. Just run the VIN at the dealership and they will let you know if that certain VIN is covered to 100k

For sure he won't be getting the 02's or 03's no matter how many warranties they come with.
04's seems to have lesser problems and price range is just about right in that year and 05 are still expensive.
