i am not too impressed with the battery life of the video though. storage wise the video is definitely great, but i just love the slick look of the nano

i gotta agree. my brother has both the video and the nano....the video's battery does die kinda quick...and the nano looks sweeter

hmm...when you say it dies kinda quick...how quick? average song playing time? average video playing time? I know they post these kinda stats on apple.com, but I'd like to hear someone's first hand experience, if possible...TIA

There are tons of used ones on ebay. Some of the sellers have very good feedback, so it should be fairly safe.

only thing that kinda stinks is that u have to pay tax...if you could find a new / like-new one from someone, you could avoid the tax ... I'm in the same situation right now...looking to get a black 30G video iPod, and I like the student discount, but don't wanna pay the tax...lol
