Default Get 450 miles per 15 gallons on Hwy...

Took it from Tacoma, WA to Vancouver Canada one time and went all the way up and all the way back and still had almost near 1/4 tank left! This car is unbelieveable. Most of my friends with C5's are getting around 25-30 so it seems all C5's aren't the same. What year is yours? If you aren't getting at least 25 on the Hwy, I would take your car in for service. Around town I always get at least 21-22 mpg (about 325 miles per tank) which beats most any car too!

It is most definately possible to acheive 30 mpg with a C5.

I have a 2000 C5 automatic and the best I have acheived on a long highway trip was 29.5 mpg. Usually I end up averaging between city and highway 24-27/28, and that is with intake and exhaust.
Not too bad for a 345 HP beast.

Kevy: Also, try corvetteforum.com C5 for Sale section. There are always good cars on there and many transactions take place there

Default No hurry to sell...

I don't really care if I sell it or not, simply just trying to satisfy my wife in making an attempt to sell:-) We just bought a 2006 GS300 AWD so that will suffice for now. If I do manage to sell, I will get an SUV though. Thanks for the info...

Default Will pay up to $1000 shipping costs or your trip out here...

Everyone that emailed me considering buying my Vette, I will knock the price down to $31k or pay up to $1000 shipping costs or if you would like to come out and pick it up yourself, will pay for a 1 way plane ticket and your hotel costs back. Would be a nice road trip for some folks! The only other offer I would do is if anyone would like to wait until summer (July), I will knock down the price to $29,900, that should help the folks who emailed me and would like to save some cash prior to buying or wait so they can make a nice summer trip out of it! Whoever buys, I will have it professionally detailed and serviced prior to shipping or them getting here too! For anyone wishing to wait until July, I would require a non refundable $1000 down in advance. The above criteria should solve a lot of your questions/problems. Thanks...
