Hi 13loody,

the ram is new. I actually bought HD ram which I later realized I needed LD ram. So this has been sitting on my desk for 2 weeks. In the picture if you see the little silver clip that is holding the heatsink.

I attached a picture of the heatsink to the first post. Thx

I needed a pc2100, not a pc2700-my mistake

pc2700 is backward compatible to 2100. Just make sure that your computer accepts high density. My computer only accepts low density (low density is compatible with all motherboards, while high density is selective) so I'll have to pass.
