I can't vouch for him but I can vouch for the unit. I have the ONE (non widescreen). It's a pretty good unit and Navcore 7 (the latest app) is a good upgrade from version 6. The new ONE XL*S (it's dot S, not asterisk S) is identical BUT has Text-To-Speech and costs closer to $500.

Thanks for the (otherwise great) deal..kind of bad timing for you (Black Friday sales)...it is in my paper today for $250 at just about every store in town. (Bass Pro, Sears, Radio Shack)
