Default Shotgun Vehicle Safety Lock

This is probably the safest shotgun locking system out there. It fully encloses the weapon in a heavy steel case to be instantly released by a solenoid locking/unlocking mechanism. The original intention was for it to withstand an accidental discharge without being dangerous to the driver while still remaining accessible to the officer and theft proof. They were produced for the North Carolina Highway Patrol some years ago and were attached to the barricade behind the officer. They can be mounted to any flat surface or tube roll bars with “U” bolts. I have used them on Jeep roll bars many times. It is activated by a SPST momentary contact switch that can be mounted anywhere. In the patrol cars it was out of sight on the panel under the steering wheel. They operate on either 12 or 24 volt DC current.Wiring is a breeze. Dimensions are 31.25X5X3

They were manufactured by a famous police equipment maker especially for the NCHP. I purchased them from the State and sell them “AS IS” .They are however tested for function and fully operable. I will include original switches as long as they are available. They are great for a travel trailer or motor home, as well as for placement behind the seat of a truck or of course in a patrol car. Check your local laws as it may keep you legal in some states. Shotgun can be any gauge. We have around a hundred of these. Shotgun not included of course. Color may vary. Most are black or silver (our official NCHP colors). (The original cost to the state was over a $125.00 a unit.) I prefer to use paypal but I will also accept a postal money order or certified check. Price: $20.00

pretty sweet. whats the total price of this item shipped? and how will you be shipping it? who do you have vouching for you because you have so few posts? i know the items are dirt cheap but background info is necessary regardless its the only way people will want to send you their money whether its $5 or $500.

Shipping varies depending on where you live. I can calculate it using your zip code. I ship UPS. I do sell these on ebay and I have feedback from people who have bought them; so if you would feel safer buying it through eBay then I'm ok with that. Just type in "Shotgun Vehicle Safety Lock" to find it.

I have about 50-70 of these left. Shipping to 92127 is $22. Each additional lock would bump the shipping a couple of dollars.

haha no no no no. I wish I could ship these things for $2. $20+$22=$42. Shipping across the country isn't cheap these days.

If you want a lock, then now is the time to buy one. My supply is running short and they aren't going to last much longer.

I sent an instant message. I'm interested if they're still available. Thanks!
