Cool WTB: Linksys WRT45G (S) Router!

i may be lookin for one of these, used or new doesnt matter, just needs to work properly.

i would prefer one that is NOT a V5+ model, but that can be worked around as well.

Linksys WRT45G (S models allowed as well)
looks like this!

I've got a WRT54GS that I just replaced with a wireless-N model. It has the extended antennas on it as well. I think those cost me well over $60.00 just for the antennas. Shoot me an offer and I'll see if it's worth my trouble to pack it up and ship it out to you. Just FYI, I'd rather keep it fpr $50.00.

Not being a butthead, but I figure I'll be able to use it later.

i wouldnt really need one for that price since i dont need the antennas, and the going rate for the WRT54GS NEW on ebay is like 60ish max, thanks tho!

these linksys boxes are well known as being readily modifiable since Linksys, and other manufacturers used modified Linux for the firmware, and had to release the source code as per the GPL. There are many 3rd party firmwares available now for these routers they offer nearly endless capabilities in terms of what you can make it do

i actually have one, but am getting the red light of death (its OOOLD, i found it hiding in my closet )

It's $35 at Radio Shack now... link

It's probably v8, but I think you can still put DD-WRT micro on if it that's what you're looking to do.
