That's a cool little notebook. For those unfamiliar with it, you can open source a Fedora or SUSE OS with a KDE desktop. To give you a better interface. I'd be all over it...if it wasn't PINK!!!!!

This may be a dumb question but what OS is it running? What other programs are on it?

Its running Linux, but its ASUS flavor and most likely set up for that unit. http://eeepc.asus.com/global/support.htm
Personaly I would rather have a full Fedora install on it. http://fedoraproject.org/

FYI, whenever you have a operating system that doesn't look familiar (i.e. Windows or Mac) 90% of the time its Linux.

Digital jukeboxes in bars, kiosks, ATM machines...running Linux, or Unix.

Edit...I just saw it had an Intel chip...if that thing has X86 chipset you can throw XP on it. In fact on the support page it says you can install XP on it.

Damn!!! why does it have to be PINK!!!!

it is running linux by default. as long as you own a genuine xp disk and key you can install it on there, included is a special boot disk that makes it installing xp really easy, came originally in the box.
neurocity :pink is the new black!!! i think they sell sleeves or different color covers for this thing on ebay!
