Just planned to go a different route. Most likely going to the K40 route. I came from an Cobra/Beltronic Sti/v1 v1.7/v1.8/9500i red display/ 9500i blue display and so far, my experience is that the 9500i is the best out of all. I can lock out all the annoying false alarms. Not only that, I read my speed on the display screen because I have 19s on my car. My speedometer reads about 5 MPH off. I rely on 9500 to tell me the exact speed I am traveling.

Whats the difference btw "i" and "ix" ?

The I does not have the red light camera. Where as the IX has that built in and will tell you whenever you come close to a red light camera.
