It's 399 WITH a 2 year contract and thats if you are a current iphone owner and upgrading before your current 2 year contract is up.

For those who are not eligible for an early upgrade or who wish to buy iPhone as a gift, the prices are $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB).

How did they not offer it to you for the discounted price? I was only one month into my new contact for my 3g that I upgraded to from a non iphone and they still offered me the 399/499 pricing
