Just bought this from another member recently, received it today and found out it didn't fit on my 03 GS300

have u actually tried it? all the changers for the gs have the same part # and the years wouldn't go from 1998-2002 as they changed the style in 2001+ so they would go to 2005. so according to sewell its the same part # so it should fit assuming it came off a gs. i would try it sir assuming it came off a gs

 

yeah I tried it, it just won't get in. I just don't understand why Lexus made it so complicated, 98-02 GS is different w/ 03-05 GS part #.

um, ALL GS show the same part # for the cd cartridge on sewells site. maybe this didnt come from a gs? either way gl with sale

 

No it definitely came out of a 2002 GS.

Kevin, I feel bad about you purchasing something that did not fit your car. If you want you can return it if you dont find a buyer.

 

that's odd, thought they were all the same too, surprised they changed it for 03-05

i am not 100% sure what yr it's for though, never tried
