Default FS/FT Nikon 180mm ED AF f/2.8 (Price Drop)

This is a excellent condition fast lens. Most of my picture taking is portrait and landscape, so I really have no use for it. I baby the hell out of all my stuff and it was perfect when I got it. Glass is perfect. No mold. Only the faintest of dust internal. The aperture blades are perfect and smooth moving. (common failure with these lenses if not taken care of.)
$450 shipped.

Lens, caps, (no OEM box)

Pictures I have taken with the lens.

It was made in 1993, Its an F mount, whether or not the AF will work with certain cameras, I don't know. Works on my F4, N80 and D90, Friend used it for her D80. That's all I know for sure.

Is that a lens filter or lens cap thats on pic #1. Looks like a little silver worn mark on it. Just want to clarify. Does the lens barrel have any scratches, worn marks, dings etc? Does a lens hood comes with it. Looks like one is shown in pic #2. Have you experienced any front or back focus issues with this lens? Is it tack sharp or may need some calibration?

DanozLS430...
Its a lens cap and its not worn silver...its the reflection from the flash.
Not that I can see, there are rubs, but none of the ripple paint is scratch or gouged. The lens hood goes where ever the lens goes....its built in.

Front back issues? like what?
Tack sharp? You tell me...
These are from a box 45 rows off the glass. Shot RAW, converted to JPG and loaded into Photobucket (which dulls it down a bit) then hot linked to CL. I can email you the full untouched RAW images if you like.

Would it be equal to a 180mm from a 70-200mm VRII...Hell no. But for a lens made in the 90's its pretty good.
