Nikon 80-200mm 2 Ring Zoom Lens Exc++ Confdition
The fast f/2.8 aperture will give you the creamy blurry background that is hard to get with a smaller aperture lens. Also the f/2.8 aperture will help you shoot in lower light conditions due to the wider opening of the lens. This Nikon lens is in Excellent condition with nice clean glass with no scratches, haze or fungus. The barrel is also in excellent condition and shows little faint rub marks near the top barrel and by the focus distance painted white line but does not show up in the pics. I treat all my lens with great care and always had a filter on this lens. The pictures below shows the Excellent ++ condition that this lens is in. A Nikon OEM hard case as shown in top photo is also included to protect this lens for storing away when not in use. I'll also include the optional OEM Nikon HB-7 Lens hood that matches the body perfectly. The hood was separately purchased for $39.95 and does not come with the lens when new. Boy are these hoods expensive. I will have no use for it and will include it with the lens sale. This fast f2.8 lens is noted to produce portraits with the buttery soft bokeh backgrounds. Below are a few actual pictures I shot with this lens. (The Good Luck Cat and Tripler Hospital all shot at zoomed in 200mm) The basketball photo was taken at 80mm indoor gym on my Nkon D300s with auto ISO and cropped. Update...I just added a picture of a 8" Djembe drum shot at 145mm on my Nikon D70s at f/2.8
The 200mm zoom on a digital SLR gives the equivalent of a 300mm lens on a film camera! This lens works on all Nikon Film and Digital SLR cameras. Compatible models include the D50, D70, D70s, D80, D90, D100, D200, D300, D300s, D700 D1, D2h, D2X, D3 and more. You can use a 2x Kenko Pro 300 tele-converter to turn this baby into a 600mm powerful zoom lens. This lens is still in production and is a USA model and not international. It will work fine in manual focus, but does not autofocus on D40/D40x, D60, D3000, and D5000 models due to those bodies does not have a built in motor to drive the auto focus on this lens.

I know what you mean as I just bought 2 more lens last week and it's getting addicting. The 180mm I bought from you is now part of my Nikon artillery. This 80-200mm pro lens is a piece of art as I get lots of compliments when shooting indoor sports. Thanks for the Bump!
