Get the 2.5" external silver with IDE connection and swap the hard drives! That way you have an external HD for back-up AND upgrade your laptop capacity!

The 2.5" external 100GB hard drive in silver would work. Just eight simple screws to take out the enclosed hard drive, then you can swap that in your Gateway for increased storage, then put the original drive in the case and use it as an external hard drive!
