You need to cut your regular sim to Micro sim and because unlocked iPhone 4 are hard to come by to be compatible with T-mobile or worldwide sim.

You can just cut you're sim card with scissors to fit it in there.

Yea good luck buddy I got 5 of them unlock them for me. I'll pay you a good amount. iPhone 4. I do this day in and day out and currently iphone 4 on 4.1 or 4.2.1 is not unlockable, you can jailbreak them but no unlock. If you are using them with any other company besides att you need them unlocked. If not when you install the sim card it will say invalid sim.

looking for a trade for a 32gb iphone 4 overall? and about the unlock issue on 4.2 and 4.1, you CAN unlock 4.1 and 4.2, i have 4.1 firmware on my iphone 4 and it is unlocked, the only thing is you would of need to have 4.0.2 firmware on your phone before upgrading to 4.1 to preserve the baseband from 4.0.2, otherwise if you bought your phone with 4.1 already on it then you cannot unlock it. so in short and sweet words ...... im on 4.1 with 4.0.2's baseband to unlock it for t-mobile. As for 4.2, the same process can be done just that it's still beta and not recommended.

Yeah, 4.0.2 is cake to unlock, like i said 30 mins of your time. 4.1. should be out any day now and will be the same story. At this time it is not 'unlockable' on JB as you said... I know my phones, i do this 'on the side' and i refurbish all sorts of phones too.

THIS... the only downside is you have to preserve the old baseband's like you said and many people don't know how or they 'forget to'.

Yea Apple is becoming a pita with this. I tried to downgrade my old 3Gs to 3.1.3 but i never saved my shsh files so i cant anymore, even with modding the hosts file.
