Looks like someone has a Valentine One for sale in the 626 on Craigslist. It's as good, if not better, than the 9500xi.

Saved my *** on a roadtrip to Norcal

My personal opinion...the Valentine One. Having arrows that show you where the radar is coming from is worth it. And the detection is superb, saved me a few times on my road trip to Norcal and back. Probably got no less than a half mile warning too every time.

Google.

"Radar detectors are completely legal to use in non-commercial vehicles in 49 states. Virginia and Washington DC are the only places in the United States that currently ban radar detectors. Radar detector use in commercial vehicles has been prohibited in the U.S. since 1995 and radar detectors are also illegal in most Canadian provinces."

By the time you look at an arrow....who cares? All you want to know is that there is a radar in the area!

Valentine one is awesome. i used it on a daily basis including my long road trips through the desert. It picks up radar several miles away out there where theres basically nothing for 30-40 miles.
Although keep in mind, it doesnt pick up laser, which is what Pennsylvania and Maryland uses and several other states.
Every state ive driven in out here on the west coast uses radar so it works exceptionally well in NV, CA, and AZ.

False. The V1 does pick up laser, but like any laser detecter once you get lit up it's pretty much too late.

True that, but its nice to look at it when the arrow goes from front, to side as you pass and then to the rear as you keep going

the new Passport Escort 8500 x50 Black is one of, if not the best detector on the market. better then the v1, better then the more expensive passport models with the "extra features".. the original x50 is insane and has paid for itself in avoided tickets more times over then I can count. I own two of the blue led model (one is for sale here in this section for CHEAP) and the new x50 Black offers a 40% increase in what is already an unbelievably long detection range. if I were you I'd do some research on either x50 before wasting money on a more "feature rich" model that lacks in comparison in the only area that actually matters; detection range.
