Default Canon FD 50mm 1.4 SSC lens

(edit: pics now working)

For sale is a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 SSC lens. Made in Japan.

This was my father's, used on his old FTb camera (also available in interested).

Appears to be in great condition. It has the rubber shade, and a rear cap. I'll try to find a front cap, but for now assume there isn't one.

Asking $85 shipped via FedEx (which appears to be the going rate on ebay in similar condition).

I tried to take some pictures to show condition. If you'd like any specific picture of it taken, please ask me and I will do my best to get what you need.

*Note: I'm not a professional photographer, thus I don't know how to professionally rate/grade lenses. In my opinion, the lens looks to be in great condition. There appears to possibly be a slight "scratch" on the front glass coating (ie- there's a slight discoloration in the coating), but it doesn't appear to have any depth to it. It's only visible when specifically looking for it at a certain angle under certain light conditions. In fact, I sometimes can't even replicate the circumstances to see it with my own eyes (let alone with my camera for a picture). Could be something, could be nothing.

Also, I take my forum moderator status and my feedback seriously, and my intent is not to defraud anyone on this site. My intent is to help my club lexus brethren by giving them first right of refusal for items that I have for sale, so that they may get enjoyable use out of my no-longer-needed items. So, after purchase, please immediately inspect the lens and let me know if it's what I've described....if not I will do my best to make you satisfied.

Yes, I believe you are correct. This is an old FD mount. I think new canon dslr use EF/EF-S mounts?

Honestly, I'm a Nikon shooter (don't hold that against me ), so I don't know much with regard to canon mounts and adapters. Sorry.
