Default $20 Craftsman 2-1/4 ton Floor Jack w/ free shipping (10/1 only)

This seems like a good deal to me. I bought one for store pick-up, but they also have free shipping after rebate. Price is good for today only.

since jacks like this are very short in length, they have a nice slope to them to get the starting point of the jack to be low.
this means you better not have sideskirts, or anything that's lower than the max height of the jack(prob ~5inches) because it'll hit it because reaching the jack point.

it's the reason i didn't buy this jack.
i want that $120 one to come down in price. . .even then i'd have to make sure i can return it just in case.

lifts >jacks

actually, the other way. since this jack is small and LOWER than some other bigger and longer jacks i have seen, i am able to jack up my car with skirts no problem. the other couple of jacks i have used (larger, longer), i always had to use wood block

and mike, where did you try to put in the jack stand?! i was able to jack up the car and put in the jack stand no problem. i put it right under the lower control arm

A low profile aluminum jack is best for lowered cars other wise the side skirts get in the way. Plus if you let them down too fast and the handle secure bolt on top is up too high because tha handle is high then you risk the side skirt coming down and ripping into it. Been there , done that.
