Not in cash though. AmEx is offering a $100 statement credit for the first $100 spent on their Business Gold Rewards card, plus an additional 5,000 points (good for $50 worth of stuff like a $50 Home Depot gift card) with the first purchase.

In other words, apply for this card and buy something that costs $100, wait for 8-12 weeks to get the $100 statement credit AND 5,000 points, and then buy something else of $100 for free (because of the $100 credit). After that, redeem the points for a $50 gift card and close the account--you'll want to close the account fast because they'll start charging you a $125 annual fee starting from the second year.

This is a charge card, not a credit card, by the way. Enjoy the free money while it lasts.

Made a purchase of $105 at Costco on 12/26 and the $100 statement credit showed up on 12/28!! That leaves only $5 for me to pay out of pocket for this period. Thanks, AMEX!! Now may I also have those 5,000 "welcome" bonus given upon my first purchase, so that I can redeem them and have my card cancelled already?
