Daewoo Room Air Conditioner for $59.99
It's going to be HOT this year folks.
Costco has this unit for $109.99-$50.00 INSTANT (at register) Edison rebate for $59.99+tx out the door.
Has a remote, thermostat, micro filter, and is not very heavy.
One month last year my electric bill was over $800.00! Not going to let it happen this year. I bought 2 units and may get two more (one for the garage).
This is a link to the unit on Newegg for specs though the deal is at Costco.

Has a EER (efficiency rating) of 10.7 which is pretty decent and qualifies for the Energy Star rating for what that is worth.
If you need an explanation of what EER means ,see below

I wonder how would you cover your window if you have a sliding side by side window?

They did last week. Several of them. I would recommend the Sharp 8500btu unit which is selling for 129.9 after the instant Edison rebate. It is louder but the Daewoo had trouble cooling our entertainment room with all of it's electronics. The Daewoo works great for the bedroom
