Free slurpee today from 7-11 at 7-11.

DALLAS -- In celebration of its 81st birthday, 7-Eleven is throwing a party complete with free Slurpees poured in special "birthday" cups at participating locations.
'In appreciation of our loyal customer base, we started giving away Slurpee drinks on our 75th birthday in 2002," Jay Wilkins, 7-Eleven brand manager for Slurpee and Big Gulp fountain drinks, said in a released statement. "Customers thanked us, and we've been doing it ever since. Now July 11, or 7-Eleven Day, has become Customer Appreciation Day or try-your-favorite-Slurpee-on-us day."

Went to 7-11 today, and the stupid guy behind the counter was like, "What?? Free slurpee??? I wasn't told about this!"
Obviously, he was just bsing me. So I took my slurpee, and just walked out. Police guy asked me to pay, and I told him about the free slurpee for today, and he was like "Really? Well just pay the bastard. He's a douche."
Paid a buck 90 for the damn thing. What a rip off.
