why? its just a oil change. what can possibly go wrong? not like its a engine swap or something.
if they offered synthentic oil I will bring it there but it is just a blend.

It is a sucker deal....they will find a ton of other stuff that needs fixing to charge you for. Of course you can say no but they will lay the scare / guilt hard-sell on you.

I dont think a simple oil change can be of any harm.
If you think this deal is not for you then carry on. I would trust my DD to just about anyone for an oil change especially for this price.

Firestone has always given my dad/family great service...

i used to work at firestone and the reason we had to tell you everything that is wrong or might be broken with your car is so that it is not a liability to the company itself. If we do an oil change on a persons car and they had a leaking oil pan gasket, if we dont tell them that it's there when they come in they can come back 2 weeks later and blame that on us. If a person brings their car into a shop and than something happens in the recent future, it's instinct to blame it on the shop. Not only firestone employee's will tell you this but any person who works on cars for a living. So the bottom line is we tell you what is wrong with your car, yes to make money but also to save our own asses so that a person doesnt come back suing us because we did an oil change and they come back later with blown shocks.
