A quick search of Google turned up no CONFIRMED sources for this story. Just Facebook and other Deal hunting blogs. Who is your "Friend" OP?

I don't doubt that this is possible but without validation I don't think I will rush to McDonald's. Then again it might be funny to see if crowds show up looking for 25 Cent Burgers and get turned away.
