I had a linksys N+ router... I hated it...
If you want a nice router get an old Linksys WRT54G & hack it. Once you hack the firmware you can overclock it. I think the default setting are 42 somethings... you can turn it up to 280 something or others with the right cooling. With high gain antennas I can go like 100 yards away it seems from my house and get signal.
