When did you get a quote from twincitywheel? i talked to someone there about a month ago he said they can straighten a rim for $100 And to clear coat or anodize will be extra.
I took my wheel in like last month and that's what they quoted me on repairing it and finishing it.
Yes I can. I have after-market parts coverage. Covers up to 5k with a small deductible.
So my insurance company ended up paying for all 4 wheels and 1 tire.
Heres why:
My wheels are discontinued, they couldnt find them anywhere. So they paid for all 4 to be replaced.
The tires on the 3 unaffected wheels are fine, so they paid for the tire thats cashed.
With that, and money to go get my car aligned, I came out pretty good. No money out of pocket. Car goes in this weekend to check my alignment, and my new wheels I ordered should be here late next week.
Anyone going to the MAP event this weekend in Plymouth? its a dyno day and show on saturday.
Small chance Im going. A friend of mine died back in Chicago, so I might be driving back on Saturday. Besides, its Easter weekend for me, so I'll be curing my ham
I'm most likely going to Boost For Boobies at MAP. It'll be me in my GGP IS300 & my friend 325i. I might even do some dyno pulls on my stock IS. Hahaha.
I was thinking about doing the Fast5 premier. I went to the last one MAP put on. It was so late I ended up passing out in the theater and missing the entire movie.
On another note, I was thinking about starting a meet night either at a park, or when someone has an install to do we could do it at my house.
Same thing I always do with my Subaru friends. I have a 2.5 stall garage, air tools the whole 9. Plus grilling is always going down.
Let me know if any of you would be into it, or we can piggy back on the Subaru dudes day. (tuesdays)
