Default What kind of oil do you guys recommend?
I have a 1996 GS3 with 88,000 miles on the odometer.

I use vollsynthese and it lasts 5,000 miles.

Alot of people use mobil 1.

Whatever you use, make sure it is synthetic..

I change my oil every 4,500 to 5,000 miles. Even though I use synthetic, which lasts a long time compared to standard oil, I still change it at this interval because the oil gets contaminated and dirty.

absolutely! I have always changed my oil every 3K miles-I have heard many people say that its just a waste, and to let it go to 5K-7K! I'll stick to my scheduled changes Mobile 1 Synthetic is what I use-

I'm going to start changing at 6k. My oil is still yellow after 3,000 miles. hehehe

Just remember... just cuz the oil can last that long doesn't mean the filter can.
